Black Rock Weekly Newsletter

What a week!

Thank you to all of our wonderful parents for joining us during parent-teacher conferences to talk about your amazing kids! We are so grateful for the delicious desserts and drinks provided by our community and the incredible dinners from our PTO.

We also had so much fun celebrating our Jog-a-Thon successes—2nd and 5th grade enjoyed a bubbly foam party, and Mrs. Brown’s class earned a special picnic for bringing in the highest donations. What an incredible way to celebrate teamwork and Black Rock pride! Next week is a 4 day week, NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 10th and NO SCHOOL Monday, October 13th.

Wildcat Wash: POSTPONED due to weather.

We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s car wash event due to Colorado’s unpredictable weather. With rain and chilly temperatures in the forecast, we want to keep our volunteers comfortable and ensure your cars get the quality clean they deserve. Stay tuned for a new date this spring!

Save the Date: Trunk-or-Treat

Join us on Friday, October 24th, from 5 pm to 7 pm in the Black Rock parking lot for treats, friends and fun!

HALLOWEEN CANDY & NON-CANDY DONATIONS: We’re collecting candy and non-candy Halloween goodies to hand out to our little trick-or-treaters. Drop off donations with our hungry candy monsters – you’ll find them waiting just inside the main entrance!

Stay tuned for more details on how to host a trunk and volunteer. More details to come!
