Black Rock Elementary welcomes students from the town of Erie, across St. Vrain Valley Schools, and neighboring school districts in a dynamic and supportive school environment.
Neighborhood School Enrollment
You can confirm if Black Rock Elementary is your neighborhood school on the district’s Maps and Boundaries page.
If you reside in Black Rock’s neighborhood boundaries, you can enroll your student online through New Student Registration.
Open Enrollment
Students who desire to attend a school or program outside of their designated attendance area may apply for Open Enrollment/Nonresidence authorization for the school or program of their choice. In order to apply, an Open Enrollment/Nonresident Application must be filled out online.
Kindergarten Registration
St. Vrain Valley School District offers free full-day kindergarten at every elementary school.
To enroll in kindergarten, students must turn 5 on or before Oct. 1 of that school year. You can enroll your student online, or request a paper registration packet directly from the school’s office.
