It’s time for Trunk-or-Treat presented by the BRES PTO!
Friday October 25th, 5-7pm
Black Rock Elementary PTO is excited for our upcoming Trunk-or-Treat event, and we need parent volunteers to host a trunk! This is a super fun opportunity to get creative by decorating the back of your car and handing out candy or treats to our students. Your participation helps make this event a memorable experience for everyone. Sign up today and join us for some Halloween fun!
Candy Drive to prepare for our Trunk-or-Treat event! Help us feed our Candy Monster in the school lobby by dropping off a bag of new candy or non-edible giveaways. The monster is hungry! Your donations will help us provide an amazing experience for all our Trunk-or-Treaters.

St. Vrain is Hiring: Visit Our Support Staff Job Fair – Oct. 14
St. Vrain Valley Schools is hosting a Support Staff Job Fair on Monday, October 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Main Street School, 820 Main St., Longmont. Community members are invited to explore a variety of roles in education, from paraprofessionals and custodians to transportation and clerical staff, all focused on making a meaningful impact on students’ lives. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with St. Vrain leaders, discuss current job openings, learn more about employee benefits, and receive assistance with submitting online applications.

Does Your Erie Student Qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch at School?
If so, they are eligible for Erie UpLink’s Tiger Packs program. Tiger Packs contain kid-friendly, nonperishable food items and are delivered to the students’ doorsteps once per month on the Wednesday prior to school breaks to help bridge the food gap for those kids who normally receive free breakfast and lunch at school. St. Vrain Valley Schools Hosts Annual Musical Instrument Drive
Donate gently used musical instruments to support St. Vrain Valley Schools’ music program during our annual collection drive. Drop off your contributions at the Lincoln School building at 619 Bowen St. in Longmont on Thursday, Oct. 3 (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) or Friday, Oct. 4 (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) and receive a donation receipt. Your generosity enriches our classrooms, provides instruments for students, and enhances our district’s music programming.

St. Vrain Valley Schools Hosts Band Night, Oct. 9
Support our high school band musicians! Join us at Everly-Montgomery Field in Longmont on Wednesday, October 9 at 6:00 p.m. for St. Vrain Valley’s Band Night. This evening of music features performances from nine high school bands. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children 6 and under and eighth grade students with a valid student ID. New this year: St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Student Performance Drone Team will conclude the evening with a show celebrating music across our schools.
