Free Meals for All Students — Plus Extra Benefits for Your Family!

Nutrition Services is excited to share that all students will continue to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day during the 2025–2026 school year regardless of a student’s free or reduced eligibility.

But did you know that completing the Education Benefits Form can unlock even more support for your family and school community? A new form must be submitted each year to qualify for these additional benefits:

Take the First Step Toward College Savings with 529 Jump!

We are thrilled to share that all St. Vrain Valley students in preschool through 5th grade are eligible for a $50 scholarship through the 529 Jump program! This St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation program, in partnership with the City of Longmont, is designed to help families start saving for future college expenses through a 529 College Savings Account.

By participating in the 529 Jump program, you can take advantage of compound interest and reduce the need for costly student loans. To get started, simply open a qualified 529 account at www.collegeinvest.org, then visit www.529jump.org to request your $50 scholarship. No deposit is required!

Transportation Services

St. Vrain’s Transportation Department is dedicated to consistently delivering excellent service for our students and their families and we are currently preparing for the upcoming school year. If you are interested in having your child ride the bus for the 2025-2026 school year, please apply for transportation services as soon as possible. St. Vrain’s Transportation Department makes every effort to accommodate as many eligible riders as possible. Apply for transportation services online.

Erie Uplink Tiger Packs Registration

Does Your Erie Student Qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch at School? If so, they are eligible for Erie UpLink’s Tiger Packs program. Tiger Packs are confidential, need-based, and available only to students residing in Erie, Colorado or attending an Erie partner school (Erie High School Feeder School).

Tiger Packs contain kid-friendly, nonperishable food items and are delivered to the students’ doorsteps once per month on the Wednesday prior to school breaks to help bridge the food gap for those kids who normally receive free breakfast and lunch at school. Practice Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Practice Time: 8:15 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.*
Cost: $25/year

This drop-in style club allows students and families to run, walk or skip their way around the building in a n attempt to finish 100 miles by the end of the year. Incentives are earned along the way for completing 25, 50 and 75 miles to help keep kids motivated. Need more information, please contact Mrs. Fadenrecht [email protected]

Student iPad Insurance

This insurance fee will be added for every eligible K-12 student on August 1st. Please note that any student with an unpaid balance for iPad insurance from the previous year will not be eligible to join the pool this year until their previous balance is paid in full.

2025-2026 LTP Student iPad Insurance: $25

The iPad insurance fee will be waived for homeless students as defined by McKinney-Vento and reduced for students eligible for a free or reduced-price lunch. To be eligible for a reduced fee, guardians must waive their rights to privacy regarding this information through Nutrition Services. Please contact Nutrition Services with any questions about eligibility for reduced fees.

Hello families! With the start of the new school year, the referral window for Gifted and Talented is now open! It will be open through September.
